Alex Goldstein

Biography

Mr. Goldstein has been with the Georgia Institute of Technology since 1994. He is responsible for strategic planning, development of outreach and research initiatives, and day-to-day operations of RIM. Prior to his current appointment he has served as Director of Operations of the Center for Board Assembly Research at the Manufacturing Research Center (MARC).
Mr. Goldstein has over 35 years of experience in industry and academia. He has lead engineering teams in development and integration of novel industrial automation and control systems for various manufacturing and scientific applications. Mr. Goldstein is a native of Russia. He holds a Master of Science degree (with honors) in Electrical Engineering from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute. Mr. Goldstein is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. and a Senior Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
